Vehicle Registration Renewal When Outside Kuwait

A vehicle that was abroad when its registration came due can still be renewed on time: you just need proof it was out of the country.

Steps

  1. Renewal is made within its normal time if the vehicle was outside Kuwait during the renewal period.
  2. Present proof the vehicle was abroad, for example the license document.
  3. When the vehicle arrives in Kuwait, visit the traffic department.
  4. Pass technical inspection and present the insurance document as required by law.
